Charles, the Queen’s eldest son, has taken the throne in the wake of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.
The first Charles to rule in 1685 will be referred to as King Charles III. The Queen was the longest-reigning monarch in British history when she passed away on September 8.

King Charles III
Born: 1948

On July 29, 1981, the future Princess of Wales—Lady Diana Spencer—wedded the then-Prince of Wales. William and Harry, the couple’s two sons, were born. They later separated in 1996 after their separation. The princess died in a car accident on August 31, 1997, in Paris.
On April 9, 2005, he wed Camilla Parker Bowles. As requested by Queen Elizabeth II, she assumed the title of Queen Consort when Charles became King.
William, Prince of Wales

Prior to serving three years as an RAF search-and-rescue pilot with RAF Valley on Anglesey, north Wales, the prince completed training with the Army, Royal Navy, and RAF. In July 2017, he resigned from the position to take on additional royal responsibilities for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.

Queen Elizabeth ii children Prince George of Wales was born on July 22, 2013, in London’s St. Mary’s Hospital. His father was there when his son, who weighed 8lbs 6oz, was born (3.8kg).
After his father, Prince George will be next in line for the throne.
Princess Charlotte of Wales

Queen Elizabeth ii children Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, Catherine, Princess of Wales’s second child, was born on May 2, 2015, once more at St Mary’s Hospital. William was present when the 8lb 3oz (3.7kg) baby was born.
Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Wales is third in line to the throne, following her father and older brother.
Prince Louis of Wales

Dated April 23, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, the new Princess of Wales gave birth to her third child, a boy weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
Fourth in the queue to the throne, Louis Arthur Charles was born in the presence of William.

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex

Queen Elizabeth ii children Prince Harry completed his training at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst before joining the Army as a lieutenant and helicopter pilot.
Capt Wales served on active duty in Afghanistan twice during his ten years in the military, from 2012 to 2013, as a co-pilot and gunner on an Apache helicopter. Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor

The second child of the Duchess of Sussex was born on June 4, 2021, in Santa Barbara, California. Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, also known as Lili, is her 11th great-grandchild and is named after the Queen’s pet name in the Royal Family.
Her middle name, Diana, was chosen in memory of Prince Harry’s mother, who died in a car accident in 1997 when he was just 12 years old.
The Duke of York

The third child of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Andrew was eighth in line to the throne and the first child to be born to a reigning monarch in 103 years.
When he wed Sarah Ferguson, later the Duchess of York, in 1986, he was made the Duke of York. Beatrice and Eugenie, their daughters, were born in 1988 and 1990, respectively. The separation of the Duke and Duchess was announced in March 1992. They split up in 1996.
The Duke participated actively in the 1982 Falklands War during his 22 years of service in the Royal Navy. He worked for the government until 2011 as a special trade representative.
Following a BBC interview about his friendship with US financier Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy, Prince Andrew resigned from his position as a member of the British royal family in 2019.
He made no admission of guilt and had consistently denied the allegations, but in February, he agreed to pay an undisclosed amount to settle a civil sexual assault case brought against him in the US by one of Epstein’s victims.

Princess Beatrice

When Prince Edward wed Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999, he has given the titles Earl of Wessex and Viscount Severn. James, Viscount Severn, born in 2007, and Lady Louise, born in 2003, are the couple’s two children.
After serving in the Royal Marines for a brief time, the prince established his own TV production company. Later, he assisted the Queen with her official duties and participated in charity events in public. He is the heir apparent number thirteen.
James, Viscount Severn

The younger child of the Earl and Countess of Wessex is Viscount Severn.
